COVID at 38 weeks

I wasn't feeling very well yesterday but put it down to the fact that I'm 38+3 and I've just finished work so needed rest. I woke up during the night and felt really flu like so did an LFT and it's come back positive 😭

I'm now lying here wide awake feeling really anxious and waiting for an acceptable time to contact my midwife.

Has anyone else tested positive this close to due date? Will they induce me or bring me in for an elected c-section? I'm Irish but live in the UK, in Ireland they don't allow you to go over 38 weeks if you've had covid in your pregnancy. Is there anything like that here?

I am fully vaccinated so hopefully I don't get it too bad but it's quite worrying. I've avoided it for this long being a teacher, as soon as my mat leave starts, I test positive 🤯
