Looking for some reassurance as to what's normal.
This is a natural pregnancy after a mmc in November which was conceived with ivf, so my nerves are all over the place and I'm extremely anxious. 7 years of nothing and now this so I'm just 🤯

I've been feeling pretty much okay the last week or so, I'm 9+5 today. I'm sleeping a lot, have a nap everyday and fall asleep on the sofa each night. Lots of frequent weeing and some bloating on and off. But other than that I'm fine, my nausea came and went, was worse in the beginning, I think it probably peaked around week 7 and haven't really had any since !!

How's everyone else feeling at this stage or how was you feeling if you're now further along ? I hear the placenta starts releasing some hormones around 9 weeks so I'm wondering how common it is for ladies to start feeling abit more human around this stage

Another thing I was wondering about, I'm quite dry down there (sorry) I've had on and off discharge but not lots of it and it seems to have gone the last few days. Should I be having more by this stage ?

Hi I'm not going to be much help because I'm in exactly the same position just a little further on than you. I'll be 12 weeks on Tuesday and don't feel pregnant at all. I'm really tired I can't get through the day without a nap or I'm falling asleep before 9pm, but other than that I feel completely normal. I haven't had many symptoms at all since the beginning if I'm honest. I had sore boobs to start with which made me test and a little bit of nausea but that's it. I feel so anxious that something is wrong. This will be my 2nd Child but I can't remember ever having any symptoms with my daughter either if I'm honest although that was 7 years ago now.

I have my 12 week scan next Friday so I'm hoping and praying that everything is going to be OK. Its taken us 5 years to get here.

I’m 10 weeks today and I feel terrible!!! Absolutely awful!! Sickness is dreadful, boobs super painful they wake me up when I turn over in bed. Im so tired, peeing a lot, completely off sex. But this sickness is the worst I’m vomiting usually multiple times a day and when I’m not vomiting I just feel sick!

Pru19 · 12/03/2022 21:34

Horrific. Weeks 9-11 were by far the worst for me

millytint44 · 12/03/2022 21:38

I felt fatigue like I've never felt in my first trimester. And I had early bleeding on and off until 10 weeks at least. I think I felt marvellous from about 12 weeks onwards.

QuiltedHippo · 12/03/2022 21:41

Absolutely fine and not at all pregnant, except for some constipation. Theres so many normals!

I’m 10.3 and similar to you
Felt AWFUL 7-8 weeks. After 8 weeks just started feeling better and better. Nausea completely gone, not many food cravings. Just a bit tired & weeing frequently / my wee smells different to when I’m not pregnant.

When I was pregnant with my first I felt rough till week 16 so was expecting the same, but hopefully this time will be easier! X

Seems it's as mixed bag then!
One thing I have is tiredness, I fall asleep on the sofa each night but I have quite disturbed sleep in the night through needing a wee and vivid dreams waking me up.
I'm trying to convince myself not to book another reassurance scan and just wait til the 31st for the nhs one, but it's so hard !!

I haven't had sore boobs at all, wasn't worried though as I never did with my son and I never get sore boobs before my period. But the last couple of mornings I've woken up and they really ache, but then by the time I've gotten up and walked about it's gone off, what's that all about ?!

I was tired, but felt fine other than not being able to stand tea or onions. In terms of discharge thats come and gone and been changeable the entire way through for me so I wouldn't worry about that.

Honestly I didn't feel properly pregnant until around 24 weeks where movement and bump really kicked in, and I'm currently 33 weeks 😊

Try to rest and take it a day at a a time, (easier said than done I know) good luck xx

I personally felt dreadful from the moment I found out at 5 weeks. I was sick all day long, dizzy, so tired I could bearly function and incredibly depressed. I was sick with my first child for 9 months but was nothing close to the way I'm feeling this time round. I'm now 13 weeks and starting to feel better but still not much energy and quite low mood I just hope it gets better. I just want to feel like myself again and want to smile and mean it. Hard when got work to go to aswell.

I’m so glad someone has mentioned the wee thing! Mine smells different too (also on pregnacare) - I was worried it was something I was eating or doing wrong!
I’m 9 weeks today, IVF pregnancy. I had a bit of bleeding last week and got checked at EPU, but everything looked fine. I’m absolutely exhausted, can’t get through the day without a lunchtime nap, and then I’m spending most of my Saturdays asleep. I’m not being physically sick very often but I feel sick all the time and I seem to spend a lot of my time just dry heaving and burping. I must be so attractive…!
My stomach is pretty sore and bloated but I’m still on two injections a day into the stomach until 12 weeks. One is a blood thinner so my stomach is covered in bruising. It looks like someone has smashed a punnet of blackberries across my belly!

I'm also burping a lot, and like I don't even think about it I just belch and my partners like oh hello 😆 I'm also in blood thinners ! My stomach is black and blue, I wonder if the bruising ever fades ? Because mine doesn't seem to be!!

My wee smelt different as soon as I got pregnant. Both times. Even before I started taking the pregnancy vitamins. I think it’s the chemicals / hormones in pregnancy changing the composition of urine. It’s like a failsafe way for me to detect when I’m pregnant.

Nikki037297 · 13/03/2022 22:56

Wow smelly wee well I’d take that and swap it for how I feel any day lol
