Has anyone taken Metronidazole during pregnancy?

Hi all,

I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and following a swab test have been told I have Bacterial Vaginosis. They have prescribed oral Metronidazle. I have read conflicting things online regarding whether this is safe during pregnancy, and I’m super anxious about taking it..

Has anyone else taken these antibiotics during pregnancy?

Hi I’m 15 weeks and I also had BV I’ve just finished a weeks worth of metronidazole. I also read the side effects but I also read the possible outcomes of not treating BV. I actually feel better in myself after taking the course. X
