Hi all, hoping for some advice, we've finally fallen pregnant after 5 years and the trst says 2-3weeks on a clear blue but going by dates I should be 6 weeks as my last period was the end of January. Does it mean the embryo is 2-3 weeks pregnant and technically I am 6 weeks? Sooooo confused with it lol xxx

The clearblue ones for some inexplicable reason use gestational age, so in "normal" pregnancy weeks that means 4-5 weeks. But they are also notoriously inaccurate. It's a good reading for 6 weeks, as it's higher than the minimum 1-2 weeks. Congratulations :)

Congratulations! The Clearblue weeks ones go by weeks since conception but can be a bit hit and miss. There are hundreds of threads on MN where CB tests have caused anxiety because the weeks bit doesn't quite match up. If you want to test any more then I'd recommend the First Response Early Response ones. Red dye seems to be more reliable than blue for some reason. You'll get a due date at your dating scan and before then your midwife will go off last period. The most important bit of the test is where it says you are pregnant Flowers

Thank you soooo much both I did wonder what was going on and I really couldn't work it out, my last pregnancy was 10 years ago so we had none of these digital ones lol. Thanks a lot for the clarification though its so appreciated xxx
