I got mr CB 3+ today which is helpful as the doctor thinks I'm 5 weeks something this week. Scan next weds so this is helping me feel slightly less stress

Morning ladies. I wouldn't normally recommend this and neither do midwives to be honest but I've bought myself a fetal Doppler off Amazon. Supposed to be 7 weeks today even though I'm measuring behind. After about 25 mins of intense searching I picked up babies heartbeat registering at 141. Now my anxiety can be relieved daily.
They aren't recommended because sometimes they cause more worry if the user can't find anything and there's many factors that affect if you can hear. They aren't recommended until your further along and the heartbeat is easier to find as it's extremely difficult to find in the early days but not impossible. The day of my scan I spent about half hour searching and couldn't find anything at all. But now I know where babies located and the exact amount of pressure to apply it's only taken me 2 minutes to locate this morning 💜

@HoneyLemon29 oh wow that's amazing! I might purchase one if everything is ok at the early scan on Monday just for days I'm feeling very anxious

The sickness has really kicked off now I couldn't keep anything down yesterday and felt like I was asleep on a boat last night 🤢 the dr can't speak to me until tomorrow either so I'm hoping he will prescribe some

@HoneyLemon29 do you mind sharing which one you bought? I've looked at a few and just wondering which one you purchased if you don't mind saying?

@arianasky it's really great your getting such strong symptoms 💕 it is draining tho I hope you feel better soon or doctor can prescribe something 🤞 I'm still feeling crappy most nights thought it would of eased by now 🙈 xx

Sorry to hear about the sickness. I can't even cope with the constant nausea and I'm not even physically being sick 😷 I've got some sickness bands but not sure if they're working or not 😅

@Skl2021 I remember picking up early in prev pregnancies and it was so difficult to get the hang of. I wasn't expecting anything this early and hearing anything over my own pulse rate was really difficult 😅 but we got there in the end x

@HoneyLemon29 yes I can imagine it was hard but glad u managed it! Brings you a bit of reassurance between scans doesn't it 💕 xx

My cramps have really ramped up today and I'm so on edge 😬 I can't stop going to the toilet to check for blood. It just feels like I'm going to start bleeding any second.

On the other hand my boobs are so painful even when I'm just sat doing nothing!

@arianasky yeah think I should be 5+3 today but already worried as would have been 4+4 for my scan last week and the sac was only 2mm which I think is more like 4+2. Will try not to panic. Getting a little bit of nausea now too but not much x

@HoneyLemon29 thank you 😊 I've got some of those bands being delivered today so hoping they will help until I see the dr 🤞🏻

@Skl2021 I'm glad I've got symptoms but I can't cope with this for another 6 weeks 🤢😬

@scoutcat that could be totally normal and the womb expanding. With my son I had the lost intense cramps over two days in the first trimester. Had to go home from work and was convinced I was miscarrying but was all fine x

@flowergarden16 try not to worry too much that's so early to get accurate dates on the scan 💕 I'm sure the next scan will be closer for you and the test is showing 3+ for you also 🌈

Just found an article saying 2mm at 4+4 is fine so maybe it is!

@Skl2021 don't say that 😂 😬 midwife just called I'm booked for the afternoon on 11th April so hopefully I get to that point 🤞🏻🌈🙏🏻

@arianasky well I'm 13 weeks today and still feel crap 🙊🤣 aww that's not long at all! Will soon be here I'm sure u will get there 🙌🤞 xx

@Skl2021 they do like to test you from the very beginning don't they! 😂 So your next scan now is 20 weeks?!

So glad the bleeding was just once @Bridgey8. Tomorrow is nearly here now ❤️ How are you doing with Covid as well?

@HoneyLemon29 I think that's really positive growth then! I know it doesn't add up to your dates but everything is moving in the right direction and it's all so small at this stage. Do you have another scan booked in?

I am also sick today, been in bed all day and have barely eaten anything. Retching a lot but not actually vomited yet. At what point do you get help with constant nausea? I'm so hungry but everything turns my stomach 😩

@Cruz86 yes I have already got my date for that but might book a gender one around 16/17 weeks. Already feeling anxious again and just want to see baby clearly as yesterday we couldn't really see properly as it wouldn't stay still or face the right way. That worried feeling is never going to go away I dont think! So sorry your feeling rough why don't u contact gp see if they can prescribe something? Xx

@Cruz86 had a bit of brown discharge today so hoping that's just the old bit of the bleed. Absolutely petrified about tomorrow!! Covid hasn't been too bad - just a bit snotty and tired. Although still testing positive on day 10 today!!! Sorry you're feeling sick 🤢 hope it eases xx
