Hi,
After experiencing one of the worst headaches I have ever had, I took a LFT and have tested positive for COVID-19.
Today the headache has subsided and im left with flu like symptoms and now isolating.

Im 17 weeks pregnant with a lot of paranoia due to two previous miscarriages. I had the heartbeat at my 16 week appt last week, all was fine. I have tried to inform my midwife but no answer and have left msg with midwife office.

Im just seeing if anyone has had covid whilst pregnant and was it all ok??

Thanks x

I had it recently. I’ll be 20 weeks on Saturday.
I tested positive from 18-28th February. The headache eased off after a couple of days, as did the aches. The general flu symptoms took a bit longer, but I was back working from home on day 5.
My midwife was not too concerned as long as I wasn’t having trouble breathing, or wasn’t so confused I didn’t know who I was!

I can feel the baby moving around now so am hopeful all is ok.
Try not to worry too much and concentrate on getting some rest and making sure you get lots of fluids. I figured that I won’t be the first or last woman to get it while pregnant, and many, many women who have had it in pregnancy have gone on to have healthy babies.

Hope you feel better soon!

I've had covid and just tested negative day 7
Started with a sore throat, aches for a few days and feeling tired. Still not 💯 but lots better
Still have a head cold feeling

In our area they seem to keep an eye but lots on here that they don't offer what my area does
Not sure why

I has daily calls from midwife until I got my negative - have to take blood thinning injections (due to risk of dvt) and been given an oximetre to measure oxygen levels daily
I'm day 8 and had my 20 week scan as they said the hospital would still see me which was good - they have a covid area which is all separate - they said they've seen a lot of it and I felt better I could still have my scan and all is good x
