Hello ladies!
Recently found out I'm pregnant with #2 :) I have an 18 month old who has always been very high needs. She's very sensitive and is a breastfeeding addict (she is amazing though and I love her to bits!).

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has been in a similar situation:

  1. I'm finding breastfeeding her very painful and really want to wean her off. I night weaned a couple of months ago which went okay but daytime is a different ballgame. Any tips would be appreciated. Currently if I don't comply, she will pretty much cry until she makes herself sick :(
  1. I understand it's a little early for this but going forward I don't want her to feel sidelined or unimportant or resentful of her new sibling. Is there anything I can do to prepare her emotionally for the new baby. I'm 8 weeks at the moment.

Thank you!
