I want to get a 4D scan as i did with my first at 28 weeks which gave us lovely photos.

I have a nhs growth scan at 28 weeks this time round and so i was thinking of getting the 4D scan done at 24 weeks so its in the middle of my 20 week and 28 week scan.

Would the 4D images be good at 24 weeks or is it worth waiting a while longer for a better image?

Hi,
I’m having a 4d scan at 24 weeks and 5 days next week as it’s my birthday on that day and I thought how lovely it would be if we could have another peak of our baby. We had a private 3d scan at 18 weeks and they did a few pictures for us in 4d too which we were not expecting. Although she was quite skinny, we were able to see her face and she looked perfect.

We had a 28 week 4d scan with our second child and it was a good clear scan. We did however have some problems with the positioning and it took ages to get a clear view of her face due to lack of room and her being tucked up into my placenta.

I would say go for it! Enjoy! X
