Hello just found today I’m pregnant for the first time! Over the moon as we’ve been trying since June last year.
This is the first day of what was meant to be my period, 3 very clear BFP.
Doctor informed but I have been having cramping similar to period pains but nothing else, is this normal?

@Bambi11 Congratulations 😊. I’m 11+4 and I had horrendous cramps. At 6 weeks I spoke to my GP who referred me for a scan. All was ok and the midwife told me it was my uterus stretching and preparing itself and it was a good sign. I’ve had constant cramping since. This week it’s gone into my back. I hope this helps.

@Rachelw730 thank you so much that’s made me feel so much better. Just being paranoid as I still can’t believe it!

Smile Congratulations to you

It’s my first pregnancy also and I’m paranoid constantly. But even as I type now I have cramping. I guess it’ll stop soon and I’ll have something else to contend with haha!

Yes cramping is a good sign, baby is growing placenta is even bigger and growing rapidly, it needs somewhere to grow and space. I cramped every day for the first few weeks I’m 9 weeks now and it was the same with my other pregnancies except the ectopic, I knew something was badly wrong because I never cramped

Hi, congratulations! I had cramping around weeks 6 and 7 and I believe it’s your uterus stretching and growing. Try not to worry :)
