Am Bleeding 10 days after the end of period

I need some advice please I finished my period on the 22 of feb which lasts 5 days, 10 days after I notice brown blood which I saw after some cramping. I weped it off and the blood turned into pink . Decided to put a tampon think maybe it’s ovulation period . I woke up in a pool of blood next morning with some clots coming out . I m on day 4 having heavy bleeding still and a couple of clots .
I have been to the hospital pregnancy test came out negative .
So am confused why am I bleeding . *
Ps I have a scan on Thursday but am just loosing too much blood . Not sure how to upload pics .

Ps me and hubby are trying for a baby

I'm experiencing the same at the minute. Period every 10 days like clockwork. Last period started March 5th. Ended on the 10th. Started bleeding again heavily yesterday. Recent smear was normal, no infection, zero chance of pregnancy, not on any hormonal contraception. No idea what could be causing it as periods are normally so regular
