I am 27 weeks pregnant and since 2 and half months i feel constant episodes of dizziness and extream loss of balance during the dizziness episodes i feel like my head is floating and fuzz like feeling at top of my head also i feel like my whole body is floating . And these episodes comes many times in a day . I started seeing a physical therapist who told me that i have so much tightness in my neck muscles also i have noticed one thing that sometimes in a day i feel cramp like pain in my neck that goes up to my head and follows a pathway more like a nerve or something whenever i feel that cramp comming from neck to head all of a sudden my dizziness completly goes away and regain my balance better . I am sooo frustrated couldnt go out or leave my house beacuse of this condition . Even the slightest of movement of my head makes me super dizzy . If my head is on the pillow and i tilt my head on pillow even a tiny bit gives me spinning in my head .any idea what it could be i am soooo depressed i dnt feel normal at all since 2 months .
Ps. GP and OB has no idea whats going on . Bp 96/67 . Hb 10.8

If it is head movement that causes this, could it be to do with your ear canals? Maybe ask for referral to ENT?

I also thought first that maybe its ear related but then if its ear related then why when the pain radiates from my neck to head following a pathway like a nerve , whenever i feel that pain at the same time my dizziness goes away

Whenever i stand still i feel like i will fall because of the spinning

Just seeing your post and could very much empathise with you! I'm just back home from the hospital, having been sent for a reassurance scan by my GP. 25 wks pregnant and all fine thankfully. I've had a few dizzy spells recently, the one today the scariest - one minute I was walking out to my car, the next I was on the ground. No idea what happened.
I attended an ENT a couple of weeks ago as I had an ear thing but couldn't find anything and told it was unrelated.
Bloods, BP, etc all fine so just one of those things apparently and told to simply "take it easy!".
Frustrating, isn't it!?

It surely is but mine last for whole day everyday .i cant stand or go out as i feel like i am standing on a boat . And those dizzy spells in between makes me feel like i am drunk and couldnt walk

Are you eating enough? Try snacking (sensibly!) every hour or so. I had low BP and low blood sugar in both pregnancies and learned to have a snack bar/banana/piece of toast more frequently otherwise I was on the floor.

Yes i did everything even in hospital they gave me iv fluids even that didnt help with the dizziness

@Mummtoaaa that sounds so awful having that dizziness last so long like that. Definitely keep pressing your midwife and GP on it.
