Pregnancy announcements is it just me

I have this really annoying pet hate when someone announces their pregnancy via social media, and you get the 'Ah so glad the news is out I couldn't keep it quiet any longer' posts 😫😂
It's like people have to state to other people that they knew before anyone else 🤦🏻‍♀️
Just one of my pet hates I wondered if anyone else had ever thought this 😂
A family member announced their news today and several other family member commented with the 'So glad they news is finally out' posts 🤦🏻‍♀️

Somebody did that with my second when we announced, they said “so glad the news is finally out” and I responded and asked her how she knew, because I knew full well she hadn’t a clue - cue a very nonsensical response about how she didn’t actually know but had “guessed” which was bullshit seeing as we don’t live in the same country…
Some people just like to pretend they’re more involved than they actually are.

My sister always does this. Currently 10 weeks Pg with my third and I'm braced for the same bull this time. I don't announce on social media but I will still get a 'oh we guessed ages ago' response. Tbf this time I'm the size of a hippo but she hasn't seen me since Christmas so it will literally be down to witchcraft 😂
