Has anyone had covid 4-5 week pregnant and it all be ok? Just tested positive this morning and I’m 4+3.
I’m scared.
I had covid and caught pregnant, I had the jab and fell again. I lost both pregnancies. I’m
Hoping it was just the worlds worst coincidences. So looking for people who had it early on and had a healthy baby

Yes, I had it at 4 weeks pregnant. Was ill for a few days, now fine. Baby is absolutely well.

I had a MMC last year too and am currently pregnant again. I had covid when I was 6 weeks pregnant and was absolutely terrified that it was going to affect the baby but I've had a private scan at 8 weeks and also had my 12 week scan last week and everything is looking great 🤰

Congratulations on the pregnancy, feel free to pm me if you want to talk about any worries about it all. I've been a nervous wreck so far 🙈

Thank you both.

I'm honestly so scared it'll happen again anyway and now it's gone through the roof with worry now. Can I do anything to help? X

With covid the only thing you can really do is make sure you keep hydrated and try to keep yourself cool if you have a temperature.

With regards to just the anxiety of another loss, I found that having a private scan at 8 weeks really helped me to know everything was okay. I also found joining Pregnancy After Loss FB groups really helped me to talk to people going through the same thing. I started talking to one lady and now we message each other regularly to talk about how we're feeling. There's also a book by Zoe Clark Coates called Pregnancy After Loss which is supposed to be really good.

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you that all goes well and you get your rainbow baby 🤞🌈

Thanks so much. I think I'm going to have a scan 6/7 weeks just in case. I did that last time and that was when we started to think it was a second loss. But I'm still glad I had the early scan because my body didn't miscarry either time.

I saw the PAL book yesterday actually on Zoe's insta so think I'll get that. Thanks for the rec.

So far I don't have a temp, I'm actually really cold lol.

I really hope this is it. I want the baby so much 😔

Me, covid at 8 weeks pregnant (found out I was pregnant same sort of time as you) jabs weren’t available when I had it. Felt crap with it on top of morning sickness and fatigue but DD is a beautiful healthy girl! So rubbish only being able to take paracetamol though, it didn’t touch the headache 🤦‍♀️ Good luck and stay rested, well hydrated and take vitamins etc

I had covid 2 weeks ago at 7 weeks then a scan last week and all’ was still ok

frenchie4002 · 06/03/2022 20:37

Hope you’re feeling ok OP. I had the exact same, COVID at 5 weeks. I felt a bit rough for a few days but kept my temperature down with paracetamol, ate loads of fruit and kept hydrated. I’m vaccinated too so think that helped. All fine so far and I’m coming up to 10 weeks now🤞 I know it’s hard not to worry but like PP said a scan around 8 weeks can be really reassuring x

Thanks all so much.
I'm super worried because of the last two times. I'm just hoping covid didn't have anything to do with the blighted ovum's (both times). So won't interfere now.
Can I have actimel or anything x

@PurpleUnicorn01

Hi ladies, i know this is an old post but im terrified i had a mmc last year now im 8+3 and have covid.
Sorry for your loss last year PurpleUnicorn. I also had a MMC last Oct and then got pregnant again in December and had covid in Jan when I was about 6/7 weeks. I told my midwife and she just said to keep hydrated, rest and try to keep your temperature down. I'm now 19 weeks and everything has been great on all scans. Pregnancy after a MMC is super tough and I've been so anxious the whole way through but everything is fine so far and I'm expecting a boy in September. Rest up and I hope you're feeling better soon x
PurpleUnicorn01 · 19/04/2022 04:12

@MamaFoxToBe thank you so much. Did you have any extra scans

Not with the NHS, but have had a few extra private scans just for my own peace of mind. How are you feeling?

PurpleUnicorn01 · 30/04/2022 13:51

Much better now thank you for your support. I had a scan soon as I was negative. Everything was great thank goodness
