I’m hoping someone can reassure me 😟

I’ll be 13 weeks on Monday and this week I’ve had some pink discharge on Wednesday and today I’ve been spotting bright pink/red blood (only when I wipe). I also had a bleed at 6 weeks but nothing since.

I’ve phoned my local EPU and they’ve told me it’s not worrisome as I’ve had no cramping and spotting is quite common, but as it’s my first pregnancy I’m just so anxious. I’m yet to have a scan (it’s on Thursday) and so haven’t seen or heard baby yet.

Has anyone experienced this? What was the outcome?

I've had this with both my pregnancy's, my first was brown/pink discharge at 11 weeks, my second was like a period at 9 weeks, both healthy pregnancies! Both no cramping,
Early pregnancy unit still scanned me both times though? Although would of been a couple of weeks with second till my 12 week scan but did book me a scan two days later, if your worried contact them again for peace of mind, congratulations and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

With my last baby I spotted all the time until 13 weeks, first time was the day my first period was due, I knew I was already pregnant as I tested early. It happened again and again and again. Have you had sex recently? That used to set mine off but I also spotted without sex.
Apparently sometimes the cervix is just very sensitive. There was never pain with the spotting so I was never too worried as it had happened that many times. I carried to term btw and had a healthy baby. If you can’t hang out until Thursday then you could book a private scan you will most likely get same or next day . I go on ultrasound direct website they have clinics all over
