Scan today

Had some bleeding so managed to get a scan and thankfully all is okay, an area of blood in my uterus was seen which is apparently from implantation...
I'm measuring a day behind what I thought I was, this is okay isn't it ?
I had a private scan last Sunday when I thought I was 8 weeks and measured 7+6 and today measured 8+5

Pleased everything is ok - it's such a worrying time. Yes I was told it's fine to be a few days behind as they're so little and difficult to measure at that stage! X

Oh that's good. She said with one view she got 8+3 and another 8+5 and then decided she's going with 8+5. Is it just how the machines work?

Yes I think so - when I had a scan at 10+6 baby was on their side and refused to move so she told me the measurement was approximate. Think I was a day behind according to the measurement and then at my 12 week scan I measured a day ahead of my original due date! Your due date will just change and the one at your 12 week scan will be set x

She did say actually that the proper dates will be given at the 12 weeks scan
