Hello,

I'm looking for recs of hypnobirthing courses that you have found useful.

I'm looking for online/virtual, and don't mind if it's recorded rather than live (as long as it's good).

Many thanks in advance!

I know a lot of people recommend the positive birth company, but I found the videos painfully slow and dull. I really laboured through them! Wouldn’t recommend.

In contrary to the above I did the Positive Birth Company course and thought it was good 😂

I did the PBC one at about 16 weeks, I thought it was good although I skipped some parts. Liked the science section.

I then did the The Nurture Nest Essentials course later in the pregnancy which I found really practical for actually planning my birth and I liked some of the MP3s.

She also has a podcast called 'The Hypnobirthing Podcast' which has so much info you might not feel like you need to pay for a course in the end! I bought her course purely because I wanted to support her as the podcast is so good!

If you are already someone who likes breathing exercises, you are not going to find hypnobirthing techniques groundbreaking but the courses are really useful for making sure you know your rights around birth choices.

I used Maggie Howell's hypnosis program. Was brilliant and only cost about 30 quid.
