Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

@MLB1984 I wouldn't worry as it's common for early scans. Fertility clinics include an early scan and if you've had a miscarriage your hospital will book you in for an early scan (or at least that's what my hospital told me they would do). So I think if there were any serious concerns they wouldn't offer them.

AnIckabog · 08/03/2022 07:37

Can I join you? BFP this morning and due date 19th November. Very early days so I'm trying not to get too excited yet.

Emmah120595 · 08/03/2022 07:41

@AnIckabog it’s hard isn’t it. I’m due 7th November and feel excited but full of nerves like something bad will happen

Mumof1boy2022 · 08/03/2022 08:03

@ALittleBitofVitriol I went to the dr last time and they refereed to the physio who laughed and said it’s normal, totally useless 😫 I have a private osteopath but he won’t touch hips or anywhere but arms and shoulder until 12 weeks ☹️

Pamctake2 · 08/03/2022 08:17

@MLB1984 Obviously worth doing your own research but I've never heard anything but positive things about exercise especially swimming in pregnancy. I also can't see how having a scan of your tummy could in any way have a negative impact on pregnancy and wouldn't make sense to me as high risk pregnancies tend to have scans earlier 🤔 I think if you start trawling the internet you can find somebody that tells you everything is dangerous in pregnancy but I'm not sure how much evidence there is to back it all up x

@Circe22 my 12week scan in the last pregnancy was just with a sonographer so it wasn't really an opportunity to ask questions but you will have a booking appt with a midwife some time before that. Personally I'd just do my own research and trust yourself to know your own body, if you ask 4 midwives or GPs the same question they'd probably come out with different answers anyway 🙈 one thing I learnt in my last pregnancy is that if you are low risk you are mainly left to just get on with it but not sure if that's just because of Covid.

@Emmah120595 @AnIckabog just take it one day at a time and try and enjoy the experience ❤️

xreadytoglow · 08/03/2022 09:25

Good morning everyone. Hope you're all feeling okay.
I'm exactly 5 weeks today and took a test for reassurance.. I definitely feel reassured!! 🤍

Due November 2022!
Natalie2304 · 08/03/2022 09:48

Got a slight light progression today (i think!) and these weren't even 24 hours apart so I wasn't expecting much progression.
I've had a successful pregnancy before but also had a chemical and have super anxiety today that my period will just start at any point. Someone please tell me this is normal and I'm not going crazy! 🙈

Due November 2022!
Natalie2304 · 08/03/2022 09:49

@xreadytoglow beautiful line 🥰

KJEL · 08/03/2022 09:54

Goodness this post is moving fast now!
Hello everyone! and congratulations on everyone's positives!
Had a lot of messages to read and catch up on but I was just wondering if everyone already has their midwife appointment booked in? I called a couple days ago and was told they wouldnt sign me up until after 5 weeks? not that its a problem just thought it was strange.
I also have to be booked in for a scan at 6/7 weeks but they wont book it until I turn 6 weeks, and then it could literally be the day of!
Maybe its an area thing, I'm in lincolnshire!

Emmah120595 · 08/03/2022 10:02

@KJEL I’m in Essex and I’ve got my appointment booked for 9th April and already pre booked 6 week scan for next Wednesday xx

Emmah120595 · 08/03/2022 11:21

I’m not sure if this is the right place to put this message on but as we’re all due November some others may feel the same. My pregnancy was planned, actually I must admit I was very lucky as we fell pregnant first month or trying. I’m grateful but I’m full of anxiety and worry that it’s too good to be true and come November I won’t have a baby to hold. I’m mid 20’s and this is my first baby. My best friend had a easy pregnancy until she lost her daughter at 24 weeks and no one expected it. I’m trying not to get excited because I feel like it just won’t happen. I’ve booked my scan in next week I’ll be just over 6 weeks and I keep worrying they’ll be no baby on the screen.

Sorry for long post just wondering if anyone feels similar or has any tips to relax a bit

KJEL · 08/03/2022 11:54

@Emmah120595 you would be amazed at just how many people feel exactly the same way you do. I for one, dont even feel like im pregnant and that i could just be making it up or something crazy like that. Alot of people youll talk to on here have experienced loss in some way whilst TTC like you did with your friends daughter and in the first 12 weeks, or at least up until they see the heartbeat on the scan is filled with worry. I myself went through a molar pregnancy back in october and ended up having to go into hospital on the day i would have turned 12 weeks. this is my 5th pregnancy, and hopefully my 2nd child.
My advice is to try and take it one day at a time, and focus on the next steps as well as all the positives of what ever it is. E.g you have your scan next focus on that and seeing that babys heartbeat! i like to focus on how many weeks i am and the next week marker. E.g im 5 weeks today! only 7 more days until 6 weeks!
i hope ive helped and just know that there is always someone to talk too, no matter how ure feeling. were all in this together!
i hope ive helped. also, something that helps me is a miscarriage reassurer, you can google it and itll give u and idea of how likely things are, its not for everyone but i find it helps me to dee how low those numbers actually are.

Bumblebee1981 · 08/03/2022 11:57

Hi ....im danni ...im due by my lmp 4th november . Its a shock to be here as my husband was informed he had such a low sperm count that he couldnt have children again ( he has 2 from previous relationships) But here i am only a few weeks after getting married 😍. Its not my first pregnancy im a mum to 7 ( one is a sleeping angel ) . This is my first with my husband .

Emmah120595 · 08/03/2022 12:10

@KJEL thank you for replying and for your kind words. Also I’m sorry to hear about your losses. I think that taking it day by day is the best thing to do. My next milestone is 6 weeks Monday then scan on Wednesday.

CSR721 · 08/03/2022 12:49

@Emmah120595 I'm definitely feeling this way, I've almost convinced myself that I'm just waiting to lose it x x

TheBirdintheCave · 08/03/2022 12:51

@CSR721 This is how I feel all the time. Still waiting...

Emmah120595 · 08/03/2022 12:56

@CSR721 it’s hard to stop feeling that way isn’t it. Every time I go for a wee I’m nervous I’m going to see blood. I just keep telling myself there is over 8 billion people in the world due to successful pregnancies
I know nothing is promised in this world but what’s meant to be will be xx

Natalie2304 · 08/03/2022 13:38

I have really bad anxiety today for the same reason. I think it's totally normal. But the advice to just look forward to the next milestone is good advice.
I also registered with the midwife team in my area today thinking they wouldn't call me for a few weeks but they called straight away and I am booked in for some bloods at 6 weeks. So got that to focus on 🤞🏻

Overlyanxious · 08/03/2022 13:38

@CSR721 @Emmah120595 @KJEL @TheBirdintheCave I'm having the same anxiety. I keep saying to myself please be a healthy baby. Any small thing can lead me into crazy googling as well.

KJEL · 08/03/2022 13:46

Ah, im awful for googling @Overlyanxious , i always try and follow it with something positive tho, like googling when they get fingernails, or when they start listening etc so i always come away feeling excited for something rather than feeling sad! its always good to remember that we all feel the same way tho! My partner makes me laugh as he knows im worried so he cheers me on! hell see me looking sad and suddenly start saying things like "wow, look at you go, you grow that baby, come on, you can do it" always makes me laugh.

Bramblecrumble21 · 08/03/2022 14:15

I freaked out yesterday as I had a blue slushie and thought the chemicals would harm baby.. I think googling is the worst thing as there’s always horror stories and there’s probably pages online that tell you not to drink water lol.

Yutes · 08/03/2022 14:27

The symptoms I had last time was sore boobs and constant nausea.

Now it’s being cold and tired all the time. And still sore boobs. Stick little blobby blob 🌈

Annabelle0852 · 08/03/2022 14:31

@Yutes I am also freeeeezing and so tired too! Glad I'm not alone. 😅
