Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

Tentatively adding myself. Pregnant again after a loss last year. I think I’m due the 12th.

I got reassurance scans the last time, but think I’ll just try and enjoy it this time.
Different pregnancy. Different symptoms. Fingers crossed everyone! Smile

@yutes due date buddies 🤞🏻 I'm sooo nervous after losses and an ectopic praying this is a sticky bean ❤️🌈

Justawannabemam · 07/03/2022 19:03

Should I be getting worried I'm not having any sickness .

I've even done another test today to make sure it's still happening. And the line went darker that the control line .😂. Roll on Friday. I'm back to work tomorrow so that will.keep me busy.

Natalie2304 · 07/03/2022 19:20

@Justawannabemam I had no sickness or nausea at all, through my entire pregnancy with my DD. Don't worry at all. Some pregnancies you just don't get it. Be happy not having it! ❤️

Eeek this thread moves fast! Ignore the above post.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories of symptoms or not - feel a bit more normal now.

Something im struggling with us exercise. Im finding lots of conflicting info online and really not sure how much to do. Im worried I might dislodge something! Swimming seems pretty low risk but I’d really like to continue with reformer Pilates and yoga… what does everyone think?!

@Circe22 I'm the same as you

Although I've read some where that swimming is dodgy as it can cause infection early on

I normally do cross fit/circuits I've been going but I've toned it right down. Last time I stopped everything and It didn't do me any good. I've dropped weights and I'm not doing berpees I ve told the instructor and I just change where I need to.

Mumof1boy2022 · 07/03/2022 19:40

Does anybody have or had SPD? I ended up on crutches last time and it started around 6 months and I have it again already😢 I thought I was going mad and it’s too early but looking into it a lot get it early after having it once 😫 I’m only 4 weeks as well 😏

Mummabearrr93 · 07/03/2022 19:52

@Emmah120595 I knew I would be pregnant at like 4 dpo I had cramping I said to my partner about it but then it subsided and I felt like period would arrive soon tested for fun and then bam bfp

Cruz86 · 07/03/2022 19:53

@Littleheart5 honestly, it gets to 2-3pm and I can't keep my eyes open. I have to have a little cat nap in the afternoon and it's dangerous because I'm self employed and work from home! I'll be spending more time asleep than working 🤭

Circe22 · 07/03/2022 20:03

Yes I’ve been feeling really tired too - although I suspect that is mainly due to going from about 5 cups of tea / coffee a day to 1! Or none ! Without exercise too I worry I’m just going to eat sleep work repeat for the next 9 months!

CSR721 · 07/03/2022 20:10

I'm with you girls on being absolutely knackered. Had to have a nap when I got home from work today and still planning on going to bed early 😂 getting up for work has never been my strong point but its even worse now.

Cruz86 · 07/03/2022 20:14

The struggle is real 😂 I do remember it getting better in the second trimester with my son though. There's light at the end of the tunnel 🤞🏻🤞🏻😴😴

@Mummabearrr93 I was the same. Started smelling strong smells and feeling weird after about 4dpo and felt like period was going to come on on AF due date and it didn’t, I nearly threw up on plane on way home from holiday abroad and just knew I’d get a positive test when I got home!

Pamctake2 · 07/03/2022 21:20

@Cruz86 yay so glad the scan went well and they will see you again next week ❤️

@Mummabearrr93 I don't have any pregnancy symptoms at the moment, but definitely finding out the gender, I'm way too impatient, we found out at 14weeks with my little boy 🙈

@Circe22 a lot of exercise is absolutely fine in pregnancy - but always best to do pregnancy safe workouts online or speak to an instructor so they can make amendments if it's face to face. I don't know where you do yoga but there is so much pregnancy yoga for different trimesters on YouTube and swimming is great especially when you get bigger/ heavier. Don't worry I don't think you can shake the baby out of you. I find bump and burpees a really good Insta account to follow for some tips x

ALittleBitofVitriol · 07/03/2022 21:33

Sorry I can't remember who asked what yet! Welcome to the new ladies, congrats on your bfps!

Symptoms - with my first I was so sick and tired, I took 3 weeks off work sick! With my second, I was a bit queasy and sick once. With my 3rd and 4th, hardly any symptoms - especially my 4th who was a surprise, my only symptom was roast lamb tasting wrong.
This time I am pretty consistently feeling queasy but not actually sick - hoping it stays that way!

Yes, we will find out the baby's sex at the 20 week scan. I already have my suspicions lol. Undecided if I'll have an earlier scan yet.

Re exercise, the advice used to be to keep doing what you regularly do - toned down a bit - but don't add anything new and be careful not to overheat. I don't know if that has changed. I would always just double check with your instructor/doctor.

I'm so sorry to hear about your spd @mumof1boy2022 - I would definitely talk to your doctor about it asap. Is there those girdle/compression wear for early pregnancy? Any exercises you can do?

I did another test this morning, a digital. 5 weeks today I think! I have to call my endocrinologist today.

Have a great day ladies!

Due November 2022!
Circe22 · 07/03/2022 21:35

Thanks @Pamctake2 that’s super reassuring. Yes I did actually try yoga for first trimester on YouTube this eve but it was really just 15 mins of stretching tbh so looking forward to exploring a bit more! It’s an odd time isn’t it as you don’t feel pregnant in your body yet (or at least I don’t) so it’s tricky to get an innate sense of how much you should be doing differently . Looking forward to first scan as assuming that’s the first opportunity you get to talk to a professional about it too… I did ring my go but they just texted me the link to the referral hospital options and then said bye so assuming that’s really all they do Grin

MLB1984 · 07/03/2022 21:49

@Circe22 I feel the same as you re exercise. I'm a big swimmer and love yoga too and had really got into it pre pregnancy so really want to keep it up but only done some random YouTube early pregnancy ones so far. I went for a swim last Saturday but spent the whole time worrying as I had a kidney infection in my 2ww anyway so maybe shouldn't have risked it but I want to feel like me still too and it's good for you to keep active so I'm so torn! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I didn't realise it was actually linked to infections...what are we meant to do then?! They say exercise is important but walking to me isn't exercise! Ha x

Does anyone know about the safety of early scans? Read something today which concerned me but wanted to see what you all think...
