Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

@Kathno4 I've read your previous post about qutiapine. I started that in my first pregnancy. Quite reluctantly and only up to 100mg. It was great and I was really able to enjoy my newborn stage. It's a while away but I would recommend having a clear plan for how to take them during labour and just after as I went early and had a meeting planned the following week to get a written plan.
@Cheetocat I'm 7+5 and I've felt nauseas just a couple of times for a few minutes but the last few days it's a little worse. I've felt hungry but unable to eat much in one go. I've also gone off milk and an loving tofu

Kathno4 · 23/03/2022 07:43

@Bramblecrumble21 yes they are brilliant! This will be my 3rd out of 4th pregnancy on them, first time around I stayed on them and had to stay in hospital for my daughter to be monitored almost a week, second time around I came off them at 33 weeks and went back on them the day my son was born. This time around I’d be doing the same because I hated being in hospital for so long and thinking my baby needed watching for withdrawal symptoms making me feel like a bad person 😳

Kathno4 · 23/03/2022 07:44

Regarding nausea my god I’ve felt it on another level past few days, 8 weeks today and feeling it 🤢 just want to be sick now to get it over and done with 🤭

kentiapalm · 23/03/2022 07:48

Has anyone else had spotting around 5 weeks?
I have pink blood when I wipe, it started last night and is still there this morning but hasn't got heavier. I'm hoping it's just because I carried my very heavy toddler yesterday and aggravated something.

I have a reassurance scan booked for 7 weeks and I guess there's nothing I can really do before then!

Bramblecrumble21 · 23/03/2022 07:57

So your a pro. I gradually came off then in the 6 months of having DD and have been stable without medication for years. I had the same, I week in hospital, feeling like I was being watched, and I was.

tigger2022 · 23/03/2022 08:08

Been feeling quite sick since 4w, now I've woken up on 5w6d completely green 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Motherofpugs · 23/03/2022 09:59

@tigger2022 same due date as you and also very green today! It started ramping up yesterday but this morning I spent half hour on my bathroom floor with a sick bowl rocking back and forth. I’m currently sucking on ice cubes, it seems to help a bit.

My2boysaremyworld · 23/03/2022 10:09

Hi all can I jump on this too please? I think I'm due November 8th with my 3rd baby 🥰
I still don't believe I'm pregnant and worrying at times. My other 2 pregnancies I was so ill and felt rubbish. I'm not too bad with this one and just feel crap every now and then

My2boysaremyworld · 23/03/2022 10:11
@Yutes I am also freeeeezing and so tired too! Glad I'm not alone. 😅
I'm freezing too! Thought it was just me lol

Yutes · 23/03/2022 10:16

The cold feeling is real. This time round I’m just hungry all the time, tired and sore boobs. All I can do is pray we make it

Cheetocat · 23/03/2022 11:00

I'm cold in the day time and then I find myself waking from sleep in a pool of sweat, wish my body would make up its mind.

My2boysaremyworld · 23/03/2022 13:00

Hi what are people thoughts on having the covid booster whilst pregnant? I'm due mine and a bit worried if I'm honest

Cheetocat · 23/03/2022 13:10

@My2boysaremyworld

Hi what are people thoughts on having the covid booster whilst pregnant? I'm due mine and a bit worried if I'm honest
I had covid in January when I was due to schedule my booster so have had to wait for next month instead, I am going to ask my doctor about it when I see her on Monday but I do want it. I'm just thinking about the implications of possibly getting sick with covid once the baby is born, if I can lighten the symptoms even slightly it'll be worth it! It's such an exhausting illness.
sarahj878 · 23/03/2022 13:51

@Bramblecrumble21 thank you for your reply. I have tried to step away from the internet a bit overnight and done some sewing to take my mind off things. I’ve got my scan tomorrow (they still want to scan me even though I’ve got covid because of my spotting last week). I will talk to the dr about my concerns then and hopefully feel a bit relieved after that. I’m taking my temp a lot today and it’s stayed the right side of 37. My basal temp after ovulation was quite high anyway so maybe my temp just runs higher than average as it is. Thanks again for your care in replying xx

Hello, 1st time posting. Fingers crossed 2nd baby due 12th Nov, I have 4 year old who took over a year and a half to conceive and referral for fertility tests, but conceived naturally following HSG test although no blockages were found. My ovulation was very low to non existent each month so I didn't think it would be possible to have another but conceived 1st cycle. Feel incredibly blessed but also like it's too good to be true. Sorry for waffling, have read through all the posts and so glad I'm not alone in feeling so worried, numerous tests and 2nd guessing every twinge. I've got an early scan booked Saturday when I'll be 7 weeks. Hoping all will be well and hoping that will help ease the anxiety xx

Hi Jane, congrats and welcome in! I was lying awake in bed for hours last night just worrying and thinking about every possible scenario that could happen, you're really not alone in that. I still don't even know when I'll have a scan! (I live in Portugal now)
W1ngingit · 23/03/2022 17:08

@HchyScott Hi, congratulations! I am 7+3 and also on citalopram which I started last year. I have a booking appointment with the MW next week so plan to raise this with them. I was told when I was prescribed citalopram that if I was trying for a baby they wouldn't up my dose from the low dose I am on. I understand that it poses some very small risk to babies at a later stage of pregnancy, but nothing to be concerned about from the outset. x

AnxiousJane · 23/03/2022 17:23

@Cheetocat thanks! Oh gosh really! I'm glad to be able to book an early one, I had an early one with my son and remember it like it was yesterday. Fingers crossed you get a scan date soon. It's crazy isn't it, I swear I'm spending a ridiculous amount of time overthinking this pregnancy and it's still so early.. the days are going so slow! xx

lovepenny · 23/03/2022 17:34

Hi ladies,
Oh.my.gosh!!! 6 weeks tomorrow and I've felt nauseous all day. Never like I'm going to throw up but just really horrid and queezy 🤢 Anyone else? I have also had the worst gas 😂 Sorry TMI I know 😂

Cruz86 · 23/03/2022 19:16

I feel sick all the time @lovepenny and I threw up for the first time this morning 😩😩 And I was also really gassy but that's calmed down a bit now thankfully!!

Motherofpugs · 23/03/2022 19:17

@lovepenny 5+6 too, we have the same due date. My nausea has been rough today as well. My stomach is quite upset at the moment too.

kentiapalm · 23/03/2022 19:47

My bleeding has stopped for now, but I'm very crampy. I don't have a good feeling about it Sad and I'm weirdly emotional today. I was dreading the nausea kicking in but now I'd be so happy if it did!

NotAdultingToday · 23/03/2022 20:11

Sorry a bit late but thought id say im on sertraline and was with ds, first time round i weaned myself off by second trimester but this time i think i want to stay on them.

I got pnd with ds and i dont want it again (though many factors caused it) so i think i will stay on it to and chat to the midwife

NotAdultingToday · 23/03/2022 20:16

Ooo also wanted to say that my bmi is well over 30 im so annoyed with myself for not losing more weight before i got pregnant ( i had just started slimming world) and its the one thing im stressing about i feel awful like i going to be judged.

@kentiapalm i have been every emotional all week too and have been cramping though no bleeding. I wish i had some advice to put your mind at rest but this stage is so hard like a limbo. Stuffs going on in there but you have no idea what!

Bramblecrumble21 · 23/03/2022 21:39

So, I'm researching birth locations and getting myself worked up. 4 years ago there didn't seem enough maternity services for labour. Now it's worse as they can't reopen the birth center due to not being able to recruit midwives. I just hope whoever said November was an unpopular month was right. My DD was a June baby and it seemed like the whole world world was giving birth.
