Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

@BabyBird20 my BMI is over 30 also, as is my friends and she is 25 weeks along. She's told me just to carry on with my Pregnecare, and then at your booking in appointment they tend to add in some extra folic acid at that point but aside from that no real additional concerns! 🥰

Casper94 · 22/03/2022 13:55

@hchyscott welcome! I think we must be due date buddies as I'm also 5 weeks today 🥰

I'm not on Citalopram but I'm on different medication that I'm cutting down. I'm also a mental health nurse by profession 😊 so what I can tell you is get a telephone appointment with your GP and go through the pros and cons of sticking with your current dose or trying to reduce - there is no research that suggests SSRIs will have any proper negative effect on pregnancy, so it's about weighing the balance of keeping you well and seeing if it's possible to cut down. Hope that's helpful! 🥰

Pamctake2 · 22/03/2022 15:24

@BabyBird20 after I said that I had plain oven chips for lunch as it's honestly all I could manage - we can only try our best 🤣

@xreadytoglow I think I used pregnancy+ last pregnancy, it was free has some bits around baby size, what you can expect, tests etc at each stage and a part where you can take pics (think they were monthly rather than weekly) but might be worth checking out x

xreadytoglow · 22/03/2022 15:27

Thanks for the suggestions @Pamctake2 @BabyBird20 @Cocobeau

I definitely have a great selection now 😬

BabyBird20 · 22/03/2022 15:47

Eek just got my midwife booking appt through, not til 30th April when I'll be 8 weeks but still makes it feel more real!

@smiles39 you've just inspired me to do the same!!

Thank you @Casper94 that's really reassuring! Currently finishing my pack of Seven seas conception tablets then will start the seven seas pregnancy ones or the pregnacare, whichever j end up with!

@Pamctake2 ooh that sounds amazing right now! I've eaten all of my son's quavers in the last 2 days! 😬😂

I've been diagnosed with tonsillitis today so feeling very sorry for myself. They've given me antibiotics that are ok in pregnancy but said to wait a few days ans see if I get better without before I start taking them! 😬😬

Cheetocat · 22/03/2022 16:07

I'm on xanax and prozac and have gone cold turkey since my positive test, I know you're not supposed to but I'm not seeing my GP until the 28th and I can't get a hold of her on the phone so I just really don't want to risk it. I also have a BMI over 30 so that worries me enough as it is.

Sleepy95 · 22/03/2022 17:14

@BabyBird20 I'm exactly the same! My Doctor told me to try not to lose but try not to gain, although by just trying to be a bit healthier I have lost a few pounds. I'll discuss it more with the midwife next week I think, but until then I'm trying to be generally healthy but with the odd treat here and there. Hope your pregnancy is going well so far!

Kathno4 · 22/03/2022 17:24

Guys I’m on quetiepine and Prozac and won’t be coming off them as I need them to keep me going 😀 call back from midwife today will get a booking in appointment call next week ready for the week after, hoping to make the 10 week deadline which will be the 6th, it’ll be cutting it fine, though I’ve never seen a midwife before 10 weeks in any pregnancy I’ve had before 🙃

sarahxdx · 22/03/2022 18:01

BabyGally22 · 22/03/2022 18:56

Wow that is amazing!!!!! I'm so nervous, we had ivf so once we got the positive the clinic just booked us in for two weeks later and it's tomorrow now!!!!

MinesALapsangSouchong · 22/03/2022 19:33

Hi everyone and congratulations, I’m feeling very late to the party but have just snuck into November as my due date is on the 28th!

I don’t think it has sunk in yet - it’s my first and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed to be honest! Rang my GP earlier and it will be a good few weeks before I hear from the midwife apparently.

So lovely to hear about all your scans, i’m due to visit family abroad for two weeks at the end of April so thinking of booking one at 8 weeks just for some reassurance. Travel will be the next worry on my list!

I would love to join the Facebook group if anyone has a new link 🥰

sarahj878 · 22/03/2022 19:57

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone had any knowledge of this because as you know I’m only just over 4 weeks pregnant and tested positive for covid yesterday. My temperature went up to 37.52 on Sunday night and I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of panicking that it will have caused some harm as I read about high temperatures increasing the risk of neural defects. My husband thinks there is nothing to worry about. But I’ve freaked myself out and am feeling emotional.

My2boysaremyworld · 22/03/2022 20:37

@Dora2018

I got my BFP on Monday and am due 8th of November! This is my first time so no idea what to expect!
Hi I think I'm due that date too but I should be a planned section so maybe a week earlier x
My2boysaremyworld · 22/03/2022 20:42

@Mummabearrr93

12dpo test today
Glad to see another test like mine. I keep thinking I'm imagining it as don't feel too bad considering my other pregnancies were horrendous.
Due November 2022!
My2boysaremyworld · 22/03/2022 20:47

@BaffledMum22

Ladies, I’m not currently pregnant but I came across the thread and couldn’t help but smile ❤️ This time two years ago I was exactly where you all were Grin excited and absolutely terrified.

@TheBirdintheCave - I was dated 3rd Nov by LMP, and dating scan, and he arrived on...the 3rd Grin yay! nice punctual boy Grin

I just wanted to say that I hope you all have very healthy and happy pregnancies Smile

Ah thank you Smile
My2boysaremyworld · 22/03/2022 21:02

@Emmah120595

Anyone else really excited but also really anxious to be pregnant? I’m always wondering if something will go wrong and trying not to get overly excited
Yes me!! X
Bramblecrumble21 · 22/03/2022 21:17

@sarahj87 37.52 is not even counted as a fever. It's within the higher end of normal temperatures. Especially as body temperature can be slightly higher in pregnancy (I think) I had a fever of 39-40 for 24 hours a few weeks back with a non COVID virus. It was before my bfp and after ovulation. Hope you feel better soon and listen to your husband, not articles that specifically validate your fears.x

Cheetocat · 23/03/2022 00:24

I have felt nauseated only a couple of times so far (7w1d) but today I've been salivating constantly since I had dinner and it's driving me crazy, I can't rest, my throat is getting sore from the constant swallowing, so crazy!

Yutes · 23/03/2022 06:27

I’m more terrified than anything tbh. I’ve got 6 more weeks to wait for a scan so I’m just avoiding talking about being pregnant and just trying to get on as normal. Some days it works better than others!
