Just want a little bit of a moan really and any replies of people who have had/are having similar so we can have a pity party! 😅
I'm currently 40 weeks today. Im fed up, in alot of pain. This is my second pregnancy.
I have SPD which is causing very low quality of sleep as rolling over in bed is horrendously painful. Legs always feeling like they are about to cramp up and with pins and needles. Been injecting with Fragmin since week 28 so belly is constantly bruised (any pressure really hurts)
I was with the early labour team for some weeks due to a short cervix and was assumed I would have premature baby. (Had lletz on cin3 after dd1 and currently am cin3 again with another lletz booked in end of March)
So, to be 40 weeks now...is like....please I'm done now.. .just arrive!
I did read on here that a few women who have had lletz before have had alot of scar tissue that have prevented the cervix from dilating?
My cervix has been 25mm long since week 18 up until week 36 where it was last measured. The lletz also was most of the surface area.
2 weeks ago I had ALOT of show, multiple times a day in my knickers for about 6 days and I was up the hospital 2 weeks ago where midwife confirmed I was having early labour contractions. Pain lasted 18 hours (doubled over in shower with back pains also) and she was certain I would be back at the hospital the next day to deliver. But nope! 2 weeks later and still no baby!!
Baby's movements are fine although painful now with all my bruising. But immense pain in lower left womb which I believe is round ligament pain. But it's honestly so bad at night, when I try and turn over, or sit up to go loo. Like muscles have spasmed and cramped up. I don't think it's my placenta (which is in the same place) but at this stage anything worries you a bit huh 😅
So yeh sorry for the super essay!
If any of you have had similar and can offer advice or your experiences, please do ❤
And just hope that I go into labour tonight on her due date haha
