I've found I'm pregnant (3 pregnancytests, all positive, one was digital). Due roughly 2nd November 2022. I rang my GP, the receptionist said I don't need to see a doctor and need to contact the midwife team, which I did via email as the phone wasn't answering, they said they'd get back to me within 10 working days.... is this right or have I been misinformed

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sounds normal. They don't need to see you until nearer the 12-week mark generally.

That sounds normal unless you have any pre existing health or mental health conditions and need advice re medication etc. Booking appointment with midwives is usually between 8-10 weeks

Booking appointments are usually 8-10 weeks, then dating scan 11-14 weeks. It's self referral in the region I work in, either phone or email and appointments sent in the post 🙂

Congratulations Flowers
