Bump is super tight and hard

Hi guys,
Anyone have and information on this, since yesterday I've been experiencing my bump going so super tight, not like braxton hicks where they come and go but it's constantly hard and like it's going to literally pop. And so sore like a bruised feeling it's not painful just very uncomfortable is this normal ?

I'm only 30 + 5 today so is this something to worry about?

Is it all day or more in the evening? Mine goes hard in the evening and is squishy again in the morning, it's just bloat. Uncomfortable, but not dangerous :) I'm 28+3

I think people with tight tummy muscles get this more, also with first pregnancy.

TashieWoo · 25/02/2022 16:32

I’m getting this a bit, also 30+5 today (hi due date twin!) and wouldn’t say it was that uncomfortable but I think it will become that way in the next few weeks as baby gets bigger. I thought it was her moving or her back going towards the outside of my bump, but as it’s towards the end of the day I think bloating makes sense too.

I wouldn’t think it was anything to worry about unless it’s accompanied by more severe pain or symptoms.

I am also 30weeks +5 also getting the same feeling in bump. I thought turning to xxx

Hey thanks for your reply's they have made me feel a lot more reassured and this is my second pregnancy never had this with my first that's why I was just wondering if it was okay, and I'd say it's pretty much been like this all day and it started yesterday, would bloat last that long ?x

I had this feeling and it turned out to be polyhydraminios. Have you had any scans since your 20 week scan? Are you measuring "big" for gestation?

I’m currently 35 weeks , I had an extra scan at 34 weeks but I was already having growth scans anyway

Pregnancy has been fine just more uncomfortable

They will just keep an extra eye on you if it’s something you have

thingymaboob · 25/02/2022 19:44

@mummyaieey I told my obstetrician how uncomfortable I was feeling and I was measuring big for dates so she arranged growth scan at 28 weeks
