Covid. Vomiting. Some blood in vomit. 8 weeks pregnant

As the title goes. I’m 8 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing what seams a bad case of the morning sickness. Iv got covid and it feels like a very bad cold, chesty, phlegmy, achy, yesterday I drank some fruit juice and got an awful pain across the top of
My stomach , I vomited last night quite a few times. I went to bed and woke up and vomited. It was so sorry TMI orange colour and burning like acid but there was part with mucus that was red I assume blood as Iv not eaten anything red.

Im sat in my bed trying to relax, sipping water.

Is the mucus blood in my vomit a cause for concern? Im unsure if this is the morning sickness if it’s vomiting from the covid it’s just so hard to say what’s what

Well I'd say blood in vomit isn't good regardless of the cause ! Give your gp a call. Hope you feel better soon

Hiya I have had a small amount of blood in my vomit (nothing to do with Covid - just the amount I have been sick!) and when I rang my GP he said it's likely to be a small tear in my oesophagus and gave me some anti-acid medicine to try settle my stomach.

Worth giving yours a call to discuss though.

Thanks I have rang them and Iv been given omeprozol as it hasn’t happened again and Iv got no pain in my stomach and I’m not acutely unwell because if it so she thinks it’s just because Iv been sick so much with the morning sickness
