What to expect from first consultant appointment?

I have my first consultant appointment coming up (21w pregnant) and was just wondering what to expect? It is only a phone appointment and I'm not sure what they will want to talk about. I am only on the consultant led path due to my age (41). It is also my first pregnancy and from IVF but no other risk factors. Will it be to discuss the birth plan or is it much too soon for that?

I had my first one after my 20 weeks scan (history of stillbirth at 24 weeks with twins, then 4 miscarriages in a row 6 years after the stillbirth) I am now 31 weeks pregnant.

But at my first one it was face to face and lasted about 10 minutes. He just spoke through my history, went through my notes and took my blood pressure. Said about induction said a date for induction and that I wouldn't be going over 38 weeks given my history and then said any concerns I have all the numbers I need to ring and that was about it

I'm the same age, first pregnancy (not IVF) and have been consultant led.

My first appointment was virtual and was just a chat to check how things were going. I was reminded to take 150mg aspirin daily, told I would have growth scans at 32 and 36 weeks, and that they wouldn't want me to go past my due date due to my age and the associated risks. I was also advised that I'd have weekly sweeps with my midwife from 37 weeks. It was also the opportunity for me to ask any questions that I had.

Congrats Smile
