Hello beautiful mummas

Hope you're all okay.

Just wanted to see how you're all getting on?

I'm finding myself very teary & emotional the past few days since turning 22 weeks & over absolutely nothing lol. Literally just crying for no reason lol similar to the first 12 weeks!

Started feeling baby last week as well but have noticed he doesn't kick too much & then I freak out hes not moving then he has a mad half hour & then goes quiet again til the next day.

I know this is normal & shouldn't worry until about 26 or is it 28 weeks when we should start counting kicks but it's hard not to panic & tbh, I love feeling him kick & knowing he's there.

Not sure the point of this post just wanted to chat to other mummas going through the same thing as there is only so much baby talk my friends & family can handle 🤣 xxx

Hi there, hope you are well. I have 2 little ones, 2 and other turned 1. I was quite emotional carrying both of them and would cry at the most stupid things, tv programme, someone else crying, unable to sleep etc, you name it I cried. I would also feel times they were playing football with my organs then there would be nothing, I think at a certain gestational age they must have a sleep/wake cycle. If I pressed my belly were j knew a limb would be I would always get a response back. If you ever get worried you could try laying down and having a gentle prod or drink a good glass of very cold water. I was never told to count kicks, not sure where you are but I'm in the uk and it's not something that we are told to do, obviously be mindful of movement and any reduced movement for a certain period of time then call midwife for a check up. I don't mind talking about babies, it's an exciting time when you are expecting a baby and fun to talk about too.
