What's the longest you have spotted for in early pregnancy? (I've been spotting for 6 days now and I'm currently 6 weeks 5 days pregnant)

Hi,
I have been having spotting for 6 days now (I'm 6 weeks 5 days pregnant). So I'm just wondering if anyone else has had spotting this long or longer?. And the baby was ok. Doctors told me to ring in a week if I am still spotting (it's nearly been a week since I rang them).

Hi there - I was just wondering how this turned out for you, as I am having the same thing at 6+5w and was looking for some reassurance. I’ve had on and off brown spotting for 10 days now, since the first day of my missed period

My best friend spotted every day (brown, on wiping) until about 14 weeks. Baby boy is 18 months old now and fine.

@Cmay I had spotting everyday from 4.5 to 8 weeks. Mainly brown/pink, though it turned more rusty a couple of times. That little guy is now 2. Congratulations on your pregnancy, try not to stress, my Drs were never bothered by it although I was a nervous wreck.

Over ten weeks, but much more than spotting, baby was fine.

Thank you all for the reassurance! I had a miscarriage back in June so I’m very nervous about this one. Although that miscarriage started with light pink and went red quickly ending in a D&C, I’m trying to stay positive that this one is at least brown spotting 🙏🏼 I have a scan on Monday at the EPU to check
