How long should I wait before I go get checked?

He normally has a session of moments in the morning and he hasn't iv given him a good shake and he has kicked me back a couple of times but thats it, also didn't feel anything in the night when I kept waking up and he's normally really active throughout the night.

This is my 3rd and I'm almost 32 weeks, mine tend to do this in the 3rd trimester then kick the life out of the monitors once I get to the hospital Blush

I’d call triage now and discuss it with them.

If you have any concerns then contact your midwife/hospital immediately.

It may very well be that he’s just having a lazy day but it’s not worth wondering about, get him checked out.

You should really call them immediately. Both mine have been the same in that I’ve been in a couple of times after feeling hardly any movements for hours (which is not at all normal) and then pretty much the minute they hook me up to the monitor baby starts having a party. My consultant said that this happens all the time but they would always rather you go in to get checked because in the unlikely event that there is a problem, picking it up early saves babies’ lives.

I’m sure your baby is fine but always best to err on the side of caution.

Went in and he had a dance party as soon as they put the monitors on Shock I felt much better though Blush

Much as it’s annoying when they do this(!), it’s still better to check. Glad all is well.
