Pregnancy Pain

Hi ,

I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced pain in their lower right abdomen in early pregnancy ( I’m currently only 5 weeks) it’s like a sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes throughout the day . Not sure if I’m over worrying ?

I’m now 8 weeks with a strong heartbeat but from about 4.5 weeks - 6 weeks I had the most awful cramping and stabbing pains! Some where so bad they’re wake me in the night they’d probably last about 5 mins but would come and go throughout the day, I was in agony sometimes but apparently it’s normal and is everything stretching x

It could be a corpus luteum causing it. Which is the follicle you ovulated from

@Dgreen35 you’re welcome. I literally had a hot water bottle at all times even stuffed down my leggings when walking about 🤣
As @actinglikealoon said it could be that, I’ve never heard if it before but when I had my scan last weekend I asked which ovary it came from and she said the right.
