Hi was just wondering if anyone here had dtd a day out of the fertile window im aware sperm can last 7 days in the female body this is my cycle this month please let me know if you have conceived from dtd slightly out of fertile window

It's more like max 5 days for sperm tbh.

Thing is though, unless you track your ovulation that app is purely guessing, so you may indeed have timed it well anyway. Did you notice any egg white mucus at all?

It's 'up to 5' days so realistically, some sperm may last much less than that.
I tracked my ovulation on my app but we weren't getting pregnant. I then took ovulation tests (clear blue one). I found that my app was sometimes 1-8 days out! Which means, I wasn't likely capturing the right time as I thought the app was accurate and based DTD around that.
The app was great for my periods, spot on. But it estimates ovulation so best results if you are very regular but wouldn't rely on it.

Try using ovulation sticks too, get to know when you ovulate each month. There are other symptoms as someone else has posted, like discharge which is a very good indicator.

Also meant to add, we DTD every other day leading up to ovulation and up to 5 days beyond it. We ended up conceiving doing this.

Thank you for your reply I have been using the clear blue ovulation stick I got a static smiley on the 19th and I felt cramping after which I think was me ovulating my partner was away during my static smiley so these was the only days I could bd I had flashing smileys on the 12th 13th and all the way up untill the 15th realistically there's project no chance I have conceived but I'm trying to keep hope x
