Braxton Hicks at 18 Weeks?

I didnt have any braxton hicks with dd, so I have no idea what they feel like, but is 18 weeks too early to have them? I am very worried because dd jumped full throttle onto my tummy yesterday and all day today I have had tightening sensations. I have felt baby kick today, but nowhere near as much as I have been in the last few weeks. Any experience?

I've had bh since about week 13!

Never had them with DD and have been having them from about 18 weeks (now 27 weeks) this time. I have a theory that my uterus is in training so the baby will just pop out in one go one the big day! Mine feel like a tight belt is across the bump with the whole bump going harder than normal for a few seconds sometimes longer. Defintaely know when its happening but not painful. I would have thought you are OK if they are painless and there is no bleeding but as you are concerned maybe you should get checked out. My DD (2YEARS) keeps throwing herself onto my bump. I guess mother nature thought about this though!

Early B-H is fine, i had it from week 17. Less movement is not and if it persists you may want to call your midwife, although your baby is very well protected.
