I had cholestasis in my previous pregnancy but it didn't develop until right near the end. This time I have been monitored regularly and bloods have always come back fine and I've had no itching as of yet. I'm 31 weeks now and for the last few weeks if I sleep on my right side I occasionally wake up with a searing, burning pain in what I think is my liver area, just under my ribs.
It disappears if I turn over and never happens when im awake so im not sure if this is something related to cholestasis or if it's just the baby's position putting pressure on certain nerves and organs.
I will be having my bloods done again this week but in the meantime I wondered if this is something any other cholestasis mums have experienced?
