More bruising with IVF round 3

Has anyone experienced more bruising in their stomach with their third round of IVF/lubion injections? I barely had any on previous rounds, with little pain or bleeding… but this time it’s painful on entry, bleeding and then leaving awful bruises! Not doing anything different apart from the fact I might be a bit fatter this time. Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried on your thighs? I did my ivf ones in thighs. But had daily injections throughout pregnancy which they told my to do in stomach and I was black and blue!

Ah I didn’t even consider that I could do it in my thighs! The clinic have always said stomach, it’s weird that it’s so different this cycle when the others I felt nothing with no bruising 🤷🏻‍♀️

I put ice on my belly for about 30seconds then injected. Didn't feel the needle go in when I used ice. I couldn't inject myself without the ice as I bled and felt pain on insertion.

I put ice on it for a couple of minutes after I used the injection. Did you ask your clinic what it may be?

By the third round you're probably injecting in places you've injected before so your body is like 'nope'. It may be worth thinking about trying your thighs. I do sympathise. My stomach is only just recovering from goddamn Clexane.
