Positive pregnancy tests but bleeding - help

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help. I’m 6 weeks pregnant today according to LMP. I’ve had spotting and some bleeding for about 12 days now; the bleeding is more than just spotting but less than a period.

I’ve had an early miscarriage a few years ago (before conceiving DC1) but bleeding was different then as it became very heavy and my pregnancy tests became fainter. This time I’d say bleeding has perhaps got a little heavier in between but my pregnancy tests are still positive and in fact have got very dark. They are what I’ve seen others calls dye stealers.

I called the EPU last weekend and they said test again this weekend and if still positive and bleeding to call them back. I will do that but in the meantime wondered if anyone had any thoughts/experience/advice etc. I know all I can do is wait but I’d still really appreciate if anyone has any words of wisdom..

I would contact ur early pregnancy unit & make an appointment! Get ur bloods & scan done! I'm still not sure what's going on yet with myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have bled for almost 3 weeks pregnancy tests are all still positive but my hcg is very slow rising! Can't see anything on scan there on weds I would have been six weeks back again next week!

Thanks @newmumtobe89. Sorry to hear you’re in this difficult position, it’s so scary isn’t it? Yes will call EPU tomorrow. Keep me posted x
