Infant Observation

Hi, I am a qualified Psychotherapist carrying out an infant observation as part of my MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy through Terapia and Middlesex University. This is a well established Child Psychotherapy course and forms part of the training as a Child Psychotherapist.

I am looking for a mum to be (ideally in their third trimester) living in the Lincolnshire/Newark area that would like to take part. It would involve one hour weekly visits preferably at the same time and day to observe your infant at home over a one year period. There is flexibility over holidays and weekend travels.

The purpose of this is to have an understanding of an infant from birth to up to one year and to relate with child development theories. All details of the observations will be kept strictly confidential. Written materials and discussions with colleagues will be anonymous and not contain any identifiable details of you or your family.
It would provide a great help and insight for myself as a Child Psychotherapy student.
I have an up to date criminal records bureau check.

If you would like to help , please contact me via email [email protected] to arrange a brief meeting.

Thank you in advance for your help .
