Hi ladies
Had a MMC confirmed over the weekend. I had a scan 2 weeks ago when I was 7+1 and all good with heartbeat of 142. I was measuring slightly behind at 6+5 but didn't worry too much as know it's hard to be accurate that early.
Over the weekend, I went for next scan and should have been just over 9 weeks but wee bean had stopped growing and there was no heartbeat.
The sonographer measured the baby at 6 weeks which is strange. And I was getting really strong symptoms the week after the first scan - they did start to ease up early in week 8 so was concerned.
Does anyone know why the baby would be smaller on this second scan?
This is my second MMC and third loss (the first was spontaneous at 11 weeks). The previous MMC followed exactly the same timeline as this one. And I know it's probably impossible to know what happened but does anyone have any insight as to why it's happened around that time in the pregnancy?
I'm devastated to have to go through this again. I'm so sorry to all you have had losses as well xx
