Night sweats - 6 weeks postpartum - anyone ?

6 weeks post c section & having night sweats where I wake up soaked.. it seemed to stop for a couple of weeks but now back - is this hormonal ? Anyone else

I had this. The doctor advised it was hormonal and it did settle. I think it’s our body’s way of getting rid of superfluous fluid!

I had this too, mine was all day and night for the first month after my c section. My body’s thermometer went completely haywire.

It suddenly just stopped one day, and I never had it with my second child.

Yes, I had this, I have literally never sweated so much in my life!

Thought that would be the end of the postpartum strangeness but then the telophase effluvium (hair shedding) started at 5-6 months 😬

Very normal and does settle after a while.
