The agonising wait for first midwife appt / scan

Honestly - I thought the 2WW was ages...the wait for the first appointment is agonising!

I don't remember it being this long with DS1, but we didn't tell anyone about my pregnancy until after the scan. I'm not sure if because our family/close friends know now it all feels longer?

I've caved and booked a private scan for Friday as I'm feeling more anxious in general about wanting to just check that all is okay.

So come join me in our wait!

My early scan is on Monday!
So the wait to early scan is long but the wait to 12w and then 20w is even longer 😅

How far along will you be?

I've had mine now but I very much know how you're feeling. The time seemed to go so slowly! It didn't help that my first midwife appointment was at 10+3 and my scan was 13+1 so I had to wait a little longer than I assumed I would.

I'll be 8+1 on Friday for an early scan.

My booking appt is 10wks and first scan is 11+6. But I just couldn't wait another 4wks to know if it's okay!
