I am struggling to fall asleep at night and stay asleep, I was up 7 times lastnight during the night but I am soooo tired. My body just struggles to fall asleep and stay asleep. Has anyone else had this ? Im only 7 weeks and 3 days so I don't understand why this is happening so early on

Myself and people I know have had this. It doesn’t last the whole pregnancy, it wears off after a while. Good luck x

@Whyemseeaye oh thank you so much, I feel a bit better knowing other people have this, hoping it goes away shortly xx

Yes, now 9+2 and have been sleeping terribly since about 6 weeks. I'm praying my sleeping pattern returns to what it was :(

@Dreamer30 ah that's horrible that your also experiencing this. I usually sleep well and read everywhere that a lot of people find themselves sleeping all the time at this point in pregnancy, but I've struggled so much, I've struggled to fall asleep and then I struggle to actually stay awake it's so annoying as I'm then completely shattered the next day but the same thing happens again that night

Same here @firsttimemum1xxx

I am currently 9 weeks and absolutely exhausted, to the point I almost collapse at the end of the day but I just can't stay asleep. I find generally that I fall asleep easily once in bed but then I'm awake numerous times throughout the night, meaning I 'wake up' feeling like I haven't slept at all.

Hopefully things get better for us all and we get some decent sleep soon Grin

I'm 10+5 and I just wake in the night - just eyes snap open ! So annoying. I do fall asleep again eventually (and usually after getting up for another wee!!) but it's winding me right up haha.

@TheHopefulMum it's so annoying isn't it, more so that there's absolutely no reason for the constant waking up. Yes hopefully will go away soon 🤞

I'm up quite a few times during the night which is so annoying. Im 13 weeks and I just can't seem to get comfy enough for long so end up tossing and turning most of the night ( my husband is thrilled about this 🤣.) I've just bought a pregnancy pillow so going to try that out tonight and see if it makes a difference. X
