Hi all, all I am approx. 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant.
I had a scan two weeks ago which measured me at six weeks 0 days with one heartbeat, ( and one embryo).
Today I did a Covid-19 test, ( I have to do lateral flows 2 x a week for work), and tested positive on both, ( shocked as I have no symptoms e.g. cough etc although a few days ago I was taking paracetamol for raised temperature.
Now throughout this pregnancy, symptoms have been very stop/ start.
Between about 4-6 weeks, I needed to wee a lot, but that has died down. I have odd spots of feeling nauseous, but not every day. And I've become paranoid my boobs feel less sore. But they kind of feel heavy some days/ and not particularly heavy others.
No bleeding or pain at all.
Can covid-19 increase risk of early miscarrage.

I honestly don't know but I do remember my midwife saying it's far better to get it earlier in pregnancy than later. Plus had a friend who got covid in first trimester and has lovely healthy baby boy.
I don't think they know anything for sure but if it's anything like flu then that's more dangerous the further on you are, basically because of the strain on your body at that late stage. Hope it all goes well.

I was 10 weeks when I caught COVID and I miscarried a few days later. There’s no way to know if it’s connected. There are plenty more women who have had COVID and not miscarried though x

Hey! I'm 24 weeks and have just gotten over covid. Baby is wriggling away so all seems to be fine. Best of luck to you xx
