Cervical Stitch

I need some advice, so this is my third pregnancy, I am currently 23 weeks, I had my stitch put in at 14 weeks because my first born was prem.

I have to put in the cyclogest pessary in every night, last night when I put the pessary in I could feel a thread, I was really worried thinking has my stitch come undone.

I called the triage this morning and the midwife reassured me that it's normal to feel the stitch sometimes, only time to worry is if you have pain or bleeding.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I can't help but worry. I will keep an eye on it and get it checked if I get any other symptoms

Hey,

I haven't personally experienced it, as I put the cyclogest the other way. But I know that feeling the stitch is very normal and absolutely nothing to worry about.

Absolutely if any bleeding or pain go get it checked out. But feeling the stitch itself is not a problem. As I said, very normal!
