Clicking and popping noises coming from the exit route- is it a sign things are getting going???

Happy New Year everyone!

I am 37 weeks and saw the midwife two weeks ago where I metioned I was getting the odd popping noise from the lady garden, almost feels like a little gush of air too.. she put it down to me having very mild spd and it being my Pelvis, but I am not convinced.. When the lo moves vigourously which she has been doing recently it makes me pop and click and it is happening a lot during the day and night now, not just occassionally like a couple of weeks ago - even my dh has heard it... has anyone else had this? I am hoping it could be things 'happening' but don't want to get too excited..

To put it crudely because you are at such a late stage of pregnancy your bits have got bigger and are letting more air in and out. A normal occurrence and will be helpful when it comes to getting little one out! Probably not a sign that things are happening at this stage though. Good luck.
