I am I believe is 5w3 pregnant, not sure as breastfeeding and LMP is unreliable... not regular cycles. But my first positive test was 28th Jan.

Since my positive I haven't had much symptoms. Just backache, the odd cramping and tired.

Last night I was woken up by a dull localised right sided pain. It is kind of a slow wave of pain that just happens constantly. I eventually fell asleep but everytime I woke up to BF it is the same. Not better not worse. Just the same slow throbbing pain.

I have never experienced ectopic or appendicitis, so I really have no idea what to do.

I am worried but also don't want to be over dramatic and show up at A&E...

What do you think?

I'd call epau. I had this pain from 4 weeks and they got me in for a scan (previous mc and pregnancy of unknown location that caused the same pain) to make sure everything was okay. They couldn't see anything on my ovaries and baby was in the womb so they weren't worried. I still had the same pain until 6 weeks and never found out what it was. Most women have pain from a corpus luteum cyst, the follicle you ovulated from is there to produce hormones for baby and sometimes causes pain. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I would go to A&E and get assessed. You will probably be streamed to gynae if you have a positive pregnancy test (I work in emergency care and it’s a completely appropriate thing to do with the concern over ectopic pregnancy). Wishing you all the best with it

Thank you all for the replies.
Somehow it feels better now.
Perhaps it was just an upset stomach?
I will keep monitoring but I don't think I need to see a doctor anymore.
Very weird pain though!
