Could I be pregnant?

Ok, so realistically could I be pregnant or not since having a bleed from 3rd - 6th of Feb? My period before this was 6th-10th Jan. The one in Feb started off and finished as browny/pink discharge is the only way I can describe it.

Me and my partner have been having unprotected sex.

Some days I've also felt sick for a short while & had lower back pain 😩

Writing this just after 2am in the morning because I've woken up irritable and feeling sick 😷😷

There are pretty inexpensive tests available over the counter that will be able to provide a better indication than strangers on the Internet.

Of course you could be if having unprotected sex. But only way to find out is taking a test.

Could be a whole range of reasons for a shorter period. Some periods can make you feel sick too. Only real way to find out would be to take a test.

I honestly didn't think you could become pregnant even with having a period? Not to sound stupid or anything!

I will try and get a pregnancy test today.

@Myinsidevoice My period wasn't shorter then any other sometimes they're 4 days other times they're 5 days and my cycles are regular every 29 days. I'm not bleeding now and it's since my period has finished that I've been occasionally feeling sick.

It would be surprising, and probably unlikely (given your regular period length) for you to be pregnant already if you’re on day 9, however as sperm can survive in your uterus for 5-7 days, if you’re not pregnant right now, you might be in a few days time.

@Hiddenmnetter I thought it would be unlikely too, didn't want to test unnecessarily.

Only started using OPK's this month.

According to the Pre Mom app today is day 1 of my fertile window and I'm cycle day 10. I'm going to start testing twice a day from today.

@inheritancetrack I've uploaded it to Pre Mom and it's still showing as "low" but the number is slightly higher to the tests from previous days..

That was one of my first symptoms waking up in the middle of the night feeling very very sick. I had implantation bleed around 13 days after I ovulated.

Just read that is an ovulation predictor test, I’ve had a positive OPT whilst pregnant years ago. Go and get a proper pregnancy test to be sure. X

Ignore previous posters, as that is an ovulation test it’s not showing that you are pregnant but that you are close to ovulation which on cd 10 would be about right. It is very unlikely that you are pregnant if you have recently had a period but if you want to double check I would do a pregnancy test. If you are wanting to Conceive I would recommend dtd every other day from now for the next week. Good luck.

@BabyBorn Yes this is an ovulation test, I did do the one this morning with FMU, normally I'd wait till after 10am to test with ovulation test but I just wanted to do it earlier as I'm day 1 of my fertile window of this cycle according to the Pre Mom app.

You don't have menstrual periods when pregnant. You can have vaginal bleeding though. If You only bled light for 3 days and this isn't normal for your usual period then it could have been implantation. Just do a test.

@MrsGHarrison87 I'm aware you don't have menstrual periods when pregnant, however the bleed I had earlier this month literally started off as a brown discharge then pink not lots of it either more when wiping after going to the loo on day 1, day 2 more blood than any brown or pink and then the last day was pink again. Very strange, it was around the time my period would have been due from my cycle in January.

Who knows.

I will consider taking a pregnancy test to know for certain.

I would just buy a big box of cheap tests from Amazon for instances like this

@ChloeHel It's not that I don't want to test, I will probably just be disheartened if it's neg 🙈 even though I'm in a new cycle TTC.
