I am only 21+2 and I can't deal with it any more b I'm drinking gaviscon like it's going out of fashion and in bed today. My throat was red raw this morning after sleep.

Go and get a prescription for omeprazole from the gp! Don't just keep suffering, you are allowed more than just gaviscon but if you're pregnant the gp has to prescribe it, you can't just buy it from the pharmacy.

Yes definitely ask for the omeprazole- it made a huge difference for me.

Definitely get omeprazole! It's amazing.

If it's that bad I second omeprazole, I tried all the recommendations to reduce symptoms & all the over the counter medicines and nothing helped except omeprazole. It was life saving!

OMG I am so happy I found this - I am beside myself with the acid and figured I just had to put up with it!
