Hi all...

I found out i was pregnant december (whilst away on holiday) i had 'pregnancy symptoms' sickness, fatigue, headaches, food aversions. I am now 12 weeks and had come down with covid last week... really horrible aches and pains everywhere, constant terrible cough and headaches.. couldn't even bare to see light and completely went off food.. i am out of the worse of it now and feel better than before. However, I have lost quite a bit of weight and all of a sudden my symptoms have gone. I don't feel pregnant in the slightest. I've been feeling like this for a few days and i am concerned... has this ever happened to anyone?? feeling pregnant and then within a few days... nothing at all?? i have my first scan next tuesday... and im so scared.. i just hope everything is okay with the baby.. has anyone come down with covid early on in pregnancy?

thank you x

By 12 weeks the placenta should have taken over so it's very common to feel better.

Haven't had covid- but did want to chime in that when I was around 11 weeks pregnant my symptoms eased and disappeared- didn't feel pregnant in the slightest.

Nothing wrong , healthy pregnancy currently sitting at 29 weeks with baby kicking away 😊 started to feel pregnant again around 5 weeks ago.

All the best xx

Yeah it's quite normal at around this time for symptoms to ease. Hope your scan comes around quickly though.
