HCG levels not doubling

After bleeding slightly went to A&E on Fri, had hcg levels tested told they were in normal range, however when they took the hcg levels on sun they had risen but not enough.

Had a scan today one of the vaginal ones and found a 5 week old sack but unsure whether there is a baby in there or not.

Have to wait one week and go back to see if it has grown or not. Told there is 50% that it could be ok but not to get my hopes up.

Has anyone else been through this, how am I going to get through this week!

Oh sweetheart how awful for you. All I can say is take one day at a time, could they not do your blood levels again before next week? Take it easy remember there is still a chance.

Had bleeding on day before I discovered pregnancy and for five days - brown blood. Had scan five days later, sac there but couldn't see anymore. No bloods taken. Was estimated at 4 weeks 2 days. Was told it was very early but not to get my hopes up too much because dates didn't tally (ie I would have tested pos at 3 weeks pregnant)

Today, three weeks later estimated 9weeks 5 days heartbeat and baby present.

Miracles can happen. Try and take it a day at a time. I know how hard it is.

BTW I had an early miscarriage before this pregnancy at 6 weeks and FWIW I didn't feel pregnant in the same way I do now. How do you feel instinctively?

How many weeks should you be? They usually do more bloods if they have not doubled. Ideally they should doudle but not always, more bloods should give you a clearly answer. I know from experience waiting a week is horrible,just take one day at a time. Hope everything ok

just wanted to say that i had this with this pregnancy. My hcg never doubled and had inconclusive scans.

I am 40+6 and waiting for the little pickle to make an appearance!

My levels never doubled but increased by 86% and i am now 33w PG . I have a previous history of EP so was obviously scared shitlesss. The dr kept on telling me that they should double but after doing lots of research and speaking to people on here and on the EPT website, i found that they look for a minimum of a 66% increase. I wasn't a standard 48hr doubler in my 1st pregnancy & had bleeding too from 4-9wks on & off - was told I'd probably miscarry - DD is now 2

Am unsure how they date it but know I def conceived on 1st december and it was def this date as was the first time without contraception then didn't do it for two weeks which was after I had a positive pregnancy test.

Still feel pregnant, got that sick feeling all the time, but this could be down to the hcg levels still being high, not getting my hopes up.

A week just feels like such a long time.
