Sorry if TMI! Been having on and off Diarrhoea since 28 weeks. Is this normal? I know constipation is but Diarrhoea not as much. I’ve told midwife who wasn’t concerned & neither was GP after checking a few thing. Some days my bowels are normal & other days I can go 4+ times and it’s much looser.

Also been having a lot of gas pains!

Anyone else?

I'm only 5+3 but have this too ! As soon as I wake up I have to pretty much run to the toilet 😆

I haven’t had diarrhoea in my 3rd trimester but I’ve become regular and looser stools. For the majority of this pregnancy I have struggled to go to the toilet, at times I’ve had some awful constipation. I’m 39+1 today and for the last month I have been pretty regular going to the toilet and not needed to take any laxatives like I needed to before.

I’m 30 weeks and experiencing this , it’s all hormone related . Pain in the butt though literally ! Not sure what we can do to help it

Are you taking iron? Far from constipation it gave me the shits.

I also suffer with this unless I am really careful with what I eat. Prior to being pregnant I had either ibs or gluten intolerance, no go can tell me what. Since being pregnant the gluten intolerance has become MUCH worse. I cannot eat any bread, pasta, pastry, cakes, biscuits etc. on the plus side I am 26 weeks and not gained any weight!

My bum (sorry TMI) is so uncomfortable now too as I've been going so much! Wouldn't be surprised if I get hemmaroids!!

Certain foods defo make mine worse (spicy fatty) etc but I still have the runs even when I don't eat trigger foods I just don't have all the tummy pain and discomfort to go with it. Not sure what else to do. It's driving me crazy and making me so drained. I had stool sample & bloods done but all normal so it's clearly just hormones 👍
