I am 6 weeks pregnant and have started getting a horrible heaviness feeling inside my vagina as if something is pushing down on it, all I can describe as my vagina bone. Sorry no clue what this is. It's an uncomfortable dull ache. Has anyone had this or know if this is normal?

This won't help at all as I have no idea if it's normal but I have experienced the same pain on and off since about 6 weeks (I'm now 8 and a half weeks) so I'll be intrigued to see anyone else's responses. All the things I've read are about round ligament pain and stretching but I thought it was way too early for that. I also wondered if it was the start of thrush but again I was clinging onto anything. So like I said no help to you, but your not on your own!

@Allanxiousarentwe thank you for this, I have been reading the same things and I'm like there's surely no way it can be stretching etc this early, but at least I'm not on my own with it. Hopefully we can get an answer x

@firsttimemum1xxx I definitely had aching pains from about 6/7 weeks - i remember thinking it seemed very early but think things start shifting around quite early on down there

I can't remember heaviness specifically but it seemed like I had everything from shooting pains to lower back ache for quite a few weeks. It all disappeared at about 10 weeks though thankfully and second trimester has been easier!

@KizboBaggins thank you for this update. I honestly did not know that any sort of cramps etc was normal in early pregnancy, i always thought having cramps meant the worst until now when I've been Googling things non stop that says it's normal ! So thank you, fingers crossed it's just some stretching etc xx

I had heaviness and cramping and a general gross feeling in my belly in early pregnancy. It was quite a lot like just before my period - like I was going to come on in a few hours or something.

27 weeks pregnant now! The reading I did at the time said it's all to do with the uterus expanding and switching into baby mode. Super odd feeling.

Yes I had this! It felt like I was pushing a ball out
then had a ball stuck just behind my pubic bone for about 14 weeks until my uterus finally "popped" up above it. I couldn't even wear knickers or pants that sat low because of the pressure. Turns out I have an anterior placenta smack bang at the front bottom so the midwife thinks it was discomfort from that. Was bloody awful. My OH rubbed my lower stomach one night and I all but slapped him off in reaction it was just so tender. Also had a lot of pressure in my bits when I was sitting down or going to the loo. Hope it resolves itself for you!
