If your luteal phase was 15/16 days, what dpo was your BFP?

I have a long luteal phase of 15 days.

The TWW is the worst as someone with a 12 day luteal phase can test on 8dpo as that is five days before their missed period. But I have to wait until 11dpo to be five days before my missed period!

So I was wondering, if you also had a long luteal phase, what day did you get your BFP?

That's not how it works - you can equally test at 8dpo as it has nothing to do with LP length.

Just note that 8dpo bfps aren't the norm and you're better off waiting until 10/11dpo.

As PP has said your luteal length doesn’t make a difference on when you’ll get a BFP. Implantation can occur around 6-12DPO for everyone, hence why some people might get a BFP at 8DPO but it’s uncommon.

Mine is around 21 days. I have pcos so I can feel ‘ovulation’ and so know when my body is trying to release an egg (it actually isn’t able to). It’s normal for women with pcos to have long luteal phases even when they do ovulate properly. It doesn’t affect when you get a bfp though - I got mine day 18 of my LP.
